Arm dropping of excavator is a common fault of excavator in operation. In the face of the excavator arm falling, the big arm has no strength. It's depressing to think about it. Even a skillful woman can't make bricks without straw. What are the causes of arm drop? How to solve it?
Common causes of arm drop:
1. Arm drop caused by hydraulic oil failure. Generally, arm drop occurs when starting the vehicle when the vehicle is cold, which may be caused by hydraulic oil problems.
2. The hydraulic cylinder of the excavator fails, especially the oil seal of the oil cylinder is damaged or aged, resulting in internal leakage of the oil seal.
3. The boom and jib drop is caused by blockage, wear and excessive clearance of the distributing valve hole, wear and damage of the main safety valve of the distributing valve.
4. When the oil seal of the big and small arm safety relief valve is damaged, a certain amount of leakage will be caused, which will also lead to arm drop.
5. The poor sealing of the distribution pump, also known as "oil unloading", will also lead to arm drop.
6. Poor contact of the proportional solenoid valve connector of the hydraulic pump will also cause the boom and jib to drop.
7. Serious arm drop, most likely caused by the main valve being stuck.
What should we do if the excavator loses its arm?
1. Check the ambient temperature of the excavator for improper selection of hydraulic oil model.
2. In case of boom failure, the pressure of the boom can be reduced first, and carefully observe that the boom is falling fast enough.
3. Check whether the hydraulic oil cylinder and oil seal of the oil cylinder have faults. If the oil seal is poor, it will leak. Replace the oil seal in time.
4. After replacing the oil seal, if the arm is returned, check the distribution valve and the boom oil return safety valve.
5. Check whether the working pressure and pilot pressure of the main hydraulic pump of the excavator meet the requirements.
Finally, remind all operators that when the excavator is found to have a fault of holding the excavator, in order to ensure that the excavator can be used normally, users need to promptly notify professional after-sales service engineers to troubleshoot and repair the problem.
