What Should I Do If The JCB Excavator Has Difficulty Walking? The Following 6 Methods Can Help You!

Jan 28, 2024

After all, the excavator is composed of multiple parts. As the excavator works for a long time, some faults will occur during the construction process. Among the fault problems recently reported by customers, many of them are weak and blocked. In order to eliminate this fault in time, Let me tell you that the following inspections are generally required:
(1) Operate the walking control handle. If you do not hear the sound of engine refueling, you can open the data output of the automatic control system maintenance program, operate the walking control handle, and check whether the pressure relay has failed. Otherwise, check and repair the engine.

(2) The travel pilot oil pressure is low: Check the travel pilot pressure and operate the travel pilot handle; if it is abnormal, check, repair or replace the pilot valve. The main reasons are: insufficient stroke (adjustment), pressure regulating spring too soft (replacement), valve stem stuck damaged or worn (clear blockage or repair or replace).

(3) Check the pressure of the mutual injection relief valve: Connect the pressure gauges to the pressure measuring ports of the front and rear pumps, block the crawler tracks, and operate the walking joystick. If the pressure is abnormal, test-adjust the overflow pressure of the mutual injection relief valve. .

(4) Check the leakage of the central rotary joint: Disassemble the two high-pressure pipe joints and plug them with plugs, and operate the travel joystick. If a lot of oil flows out of the oil port of the rotary joint, it indicates serious leakage.

(5) Check motor leakage: Disassemble the motor drain pipe. If the leakage is serious, repair and replace the motor.

(6) Check the multi-way valve: If the multi-way valve is stuck in the semi-closed position or the fitting gap is too large and the leakage is serious, the action will be weak. In this case, the valve stem valve sleeve needs to be repaired.

For the excavator to be able to perform normal and smooth construction, every movement needs to be perfectly coordinated and connected. This requires experienced drivers to not only focus on the construction environment during the construction process, but also closely observe every movement of the excavator. Is it normal?
