How To Effectively Reduce The Wear Of The Excavator

Jun 18, 2018

One of the important components of the excavator is the walking device. Frankly, it is the chassis parts of the excavator. It is composed of chain plate, chain track, supporting chain wheel, supporting wheel, driving wheel and so on. It can be said that leaving the walking device, the excavator will be unable to move.

If we have studied the theory of excavators, or if a good excavator has taken it, we will tell you to put the excavator in a flat place as much as possible. Whether it is work or stop the excavator. This is not only easy to avoid accidents at work, but also protects the crawler parts of excavators. In daily operation, how to reduce the wear and tear of the parts of the excavator is particularly important.

The first point: avoid excavators moving along the sloping ground or turning suddenly as far as possible.

In fact, give you a simple example. If you are on the slope, even if you just stand still, you will feel very tired. The excavator is naturally the same. Because the joints of the chassis are supported.

If a long time repeatedly walks and turns on the sloping ground, it will lead to the side of the rail link with the side of the driving wheel and the steering wheel, which leads to the increase of the degree of wear. Therefore, in the course of operation, it is possible to choose straight line and big turn as far as possible, which can effectively prevent excessive wear.

Second point: if it is found that the roller can not operate due to failure, it should be repaired at once.

If a partial sprocket or a support wheel does not continue to operate, it may cause the roller to wear off and even lead to the wear of the rail link. Therefore, when such a roller is unable to operate, it is necessary to repair immediately, so that other faults can be avoided in time.

The third point: to avoid the long time bubbling water of the excavator

This is also the most important point, that is, do not soak the bottom device in the water for a long time. In particular, some coastal cities. Because the excavator is soaked in water for a long time, it will not only rust the bottom, but also corrode the chassis when the salinity of some water is high. Directly, all the devices in the bottom are rotted out.

Fourth point: regular inspection, reinforcement bolts and nuts can effectively reduce track wear.

The supporting wheel, the track plate bolt, the driving wheel mounting bolt, the walking pipe bolt and so on, because the long time work of the equipment is easy to loose due to vibration. If the track continues to operate under the condition that the bolt is loose, it may cause gaps between the bolts and the track plate, resulting in cracks in the track plate. The gap can also increase the bolt hole between the track and the rail link, which leads to no means of fastening, resulting in the replacement of the track and the track chain.

For example, if the inspection of the parts is ignored, when the mechanical operation of the excavated mechanical crawler plate bolts is still maintained, there will be a gap between the bolt and the crawler plate, which will lead to the crack of the crawler plate for a long time. At the same time, due to the gap between the bolt and the crawler plate, the bolt holes between the track and the rail chain can not be tightened gradually. Finally, the problem can only be solved by replacing the track and the track chain. As a result, it brings huge unnecessary trouble and heavy maintenance cost for daily homework.

Although the excavator will be worn more or less in the operation, if we pay attention to the maintenance of the excavator in the daily use, it can reduce some unnecessary wear.
