Notes on diesel engine cylinder head gasket replacement:
1. The new or repaired diesel engine should be tightened in a timely manner after trial operation and 240-250 hours of operation; the cylinder head bolts must be tightened in 3 times in the prescribed order, not too large or too small And the torque of all cylinder head bolts should be the same. Common excavator structures include power devices, working devices, slewing mechanisms, steering mechanisms, transmission mechanisms, walking mechanisms, and auxiliary facilities.
2. Make sure that the plane on the shoulder of the cylinder liner is higher than the specified distance from the plane of the machine body. If the plane on the shoulder of the liner cylinder is higher than the plane of the machine body, you can grind the plane below the shoulder of the cylinder liner and the body. If necessary, a small amount can be cut under the shoulder of the cylinder liner, but it should be rounded. If the plane on the shoulder of the cylinder liner is too small or lower than the plane of the machine body, it can be solved by padding copper at the joint between the plane of the shoulder of the cylinder liner and the body.
3. Timely replace the broken and bald bolts (composition: head and screw) and nuts. After the enlarged cylinder head bolts are screwed into the body, there should be no protrusions on the plane of the body. After screwing into the body with the standard bolt u bolt, the non-perpendicularity to the plane of the body shall not be greater than 1 mm.
4. When selecting the cylinder head gasket, the size of the cylinder head gasket is required to be suitable; the asbestos packing is uniform; the copper skin around the cylinder hole and the water jacket hole is pressed tightly without damage such as stretching and falling. When disassembling the old cylinder head gasket, be careful not to damage it, and inspect it carefully during installation. If there is a defect, you must repair it. If you cannot repair it, you must replace it.
5. When repairing and installing, strict inspection should be carried out to ensure that the unevenness of the plane of the machine body is within the specified range. The pits and pits around the water jacket hole should be cushioned with copper skin as much as possible; in order to prevent the 3 water jacket holes on the right side of the body from burning the cylinder gasket, the 3 small round holes on the cylinder can be cut open To make it the same shape as the water jacket hole on the cylinder head, and then use a copper bag to tighten or weld it. This reduces the resistance of the water flow, prevents the impact and soaking of the cooling water, and damages the cylinder gasket.
6. The temperature of the diesel engine should be guaranteed during the operation, and it should not be too high. If the temperature of the diesel engine is too high due to poor heat dissipation, too late to ask for fuel supply, etc., it should be stopped immediately to eliminate the diesel engine to ensure that the diesel engine works at normal temperature. The diesel engine shall not be overloaded for a long time.
