What Are The Causes Of Excavator Track Damage?

Apr 28, 2020

The engine is the power source of the excavator. Most of the diesel is used in a convenient place, and the motor can also be used. Since excavators are generally constructed in relatively harsh environments, faults such as movement, damage, and breakage of the crawler are inevitable. What are the reasons for the damage to the crawler?

1. Driving on uneven roads When an excavator performs earthwork, the work site is generally uneven. Under such terrain conditions, the crawler excavator travels improperly, and the weight of the body tends to be local, and the local pressure changes. If it is large, it will cause certain damage to the crawler and cause dynamic problems.

2. Improper operation control when turning. When the excavator is turning, one side of the crawler walks and the other side of the crawler does not move. There is a large rotation movement. If the crawler is blocked by the raised part on the ground, it will get stuck. Turn the crawler on one side, the crawler is easily pulled.

3. The excavator can not be driven for too long on the road like a car. The operator needs to pay special attention. The crawler excavator cannot walk for too long, which will not only cause great damage to the crawler, but also affect it. The length of use of the equipment, therefore, the excavator's movement and walking must be grasped one degree.

4. The gravel crawler excavator that has not cleaned the crawler in time will have some gravel or mud into the crawler when it is working or moving. If it is removed in time before walking, the gravel will rotate with the interest rate belt And being squeezed between the driving wheel, the guide wheel and the crawler, after a long time, the excavator crawler will move, and the chain track will be broken.

5. Excavator parking is not reasonable enough. Crawler excavator parking must not be ambiguous. It must be parked in a flat place. If the height is uneven, it will cause uneven force on the excavator crawler. The track is broken or cracked due to stress concentration.
