How To Reduce The Daily Wear Of Excavator Crawler?

Aug 09, 2022

The traveling part of the excavator is composed of supporting sprocket, supporting wheel, driving wheel and rail chain link. After running for a certain time, these working parts will start to wear to a certain extent. However, if we need to pay attention to daily maintenance, as long as it takes a little time to choose appropriate maintenance, we can effectively avoid the "major operation of excavator legs" in the future. It saves you considerable maintenance management funds, and at the same time, it can avoid the delay of construction period caused by maintenance technology.

First, if you walk repeatedly on the inclined ground for a long time and turn suddenly, the track link side will contact with the drive wheel and guide wheel side, thus increasing the wear degree. Therefore, try to avoid walking or sudden turning. Straight driving and big turning can effectively prevent wear

Second, the idlers that continue to be used in the state and the lower part of the support wheel cannot operate, which may cause local grinding wheels, but also may cause wear of the railway connection. If the wheel cannot be found in operation, it must be repaired immediately! Which avoids causing other faults.

3、 A bolt for the installation of the roller and carrier sprocket, a bolt for the crawler plate, a bolt for the installation of the driving wheel, a bolt for the traveling pipe, etc. are easy to be loosened due to no vibration after the national machine can be studied for a long time.

For example, when the bolts of the track plate are loose, if the machine is operated continuously, the gap between the track plate and the bolts may even be caused, resulting in cracks of the track plate. In addition, the gap may also increase the bolt holes between the rails, resulting in the serious consequences of not being fastened and having to be replaced. Therefore, bolts and nuts should be regularly inspected and tightened to reduce unnecessary maintenance costs.
