Precautions for forklift operation

1. Before and after forklift operation, the appearance shall be checked, and fuel, lubricating oil and cooling water shall be added.

2. Check the safety performance of starting, running and braking.

3. Check whether the lights and horn signals are complete and effective.

4. During the operation of the forklift, check whether the pressure and temperature are normal.

5. After the forklift runs, check the leakage and replace the seals in time.

start

1. Before starting, observe around and confirm that there is no obstacle hindering the driving safety, then honk the horn before starting.

2. For vehicles with hydraulic (pneumatic) braking, the brake hydraulic (pneumatic) gauge must be safe before starting.

3. When the forklift starts, the driver should first confirm that the goods are stable and reliable.

4. Start slowly and steadily.

travel

1. When driving, the height from the bottom of the fork to the ground shall be 300-400mm, and the mast must tilt backward.

2. Do not lift the fork too high when driving. When entering or leaving the operation site or driving, pay attention to whether there will be any obstacles in the air. The fork shall not be lifted too high when the load is running, which will affect the stability of the forklift.

3. After unloading, lower the fork to the normal driving position before driving.

4. When turning, if there are pedestrians or vehicles nearby, the driving signal shall be sent first. Steep turning at high speed is prohibited. Steep turning at high speed will cause the vehicle to lose lateral stability and overturn.

5. When driving downhill, it is forbidden to stop the forklift and slide, and it is forbidden to brake suddenly when driving with loads except under special circumstances.

6. Forklifts shall comply with the traffic rules in the factory when running, and must keep a safe distance from the vehicles in front.

7. When the forklift is running, the load must be at the lowest position that will not hinder the driving, and the mast should tilt back properly; The load shall not be raised except for stacking or loading.

8. The load height shall not block the driver's vision.

9. It is forbidden to turn on the ramp or drive across the ramp.

10. The safe driving speed of the forklift factory is 5km/h. When entering the production workshop, the forklift must drive safely at a low speed.

11. When the forklift is lifting or driving, it is forbidden for personnel to stand on the fork to hold objects and balance.

12. Timely repair and report problems found, and never work with diseases or conceal them.

Loading and unloading

1. When forking articles, the distance between two forks shall be adjusted as required to make the load of the two forks balanced and not deflected. One side of the article shall be close to the retaining frame.

2. It is forbidden to work with a single fork or use a fork to lift or pull objects. Under special circumstances, safety warning signs must be set up to remind pedestrians around.

3. During the loading and unloading of articles, the forklift must be braked with the brake.

4. The vehicle speed shall be slow and steady. The wheel shall not crush the skid to avoid injury.

5. When forking, the fork shall be put under the load as far as possible, and the fork tip shall not touch other goods or objects. The minimum back tilt of the mast shall be used to stabilize the load, so as to avoid backward sliding of the load. When unloading, the mast can be tilted forward slightly to facilitate load placement and fork extraction.

6. It is forbidden to pick up goods at high speed and collide with hard objects with fork head.

7. It is forbidden to stand around the forks when forklifts lift objects, so as to prevent goods from collapsing and injuring people.

8. Overload is prohibited. Fork lifting personnel are prohibited from working at heights to avoid falling accidents.

9. It is not allowed to slide, place, circle or roll objects with brake inertia.

10. It is not allowed to unload by picking, turning or palletizing with forks.

Leave the forklift

1. It is forbidden to leave the forklift when the goods on the fork are suspended. Before leaving the forklift, the goods must be unloaded or the fork rack must be lowered.

2. The parking brake handle is pulled or the hand brake switch is pressed down.

3. The engine is shut down and the power is cut off (except for special circumstances, such as the driver does not leave the vehicle's sight for more than 1 minute).

4. Remove the key.

"Eight Don'ts" shall be observed during operation

1. Single fork operation is not allowed;

2. It is not allowed to lift the goods for long distance driving;

3. It is not allowed to use fork to pick up the pallet;

4. It is not allowed to directly shovel hazardous chemicals such as chemicals and inflammables with forks;

5. It is not allowed to take goods with inertial force;

6. It is not allowed to use braking force to place round or easily rolling objects;

7. No one is allowed to work on the pallet or fork, and no one is allowed to stand under the fork after the fork is lifted;

8. It is not allowed to drive laterally on the sloping road.
