The working pressure of the pump refers to the pressure of the pump output oil, which is only related to the magnitude of the load resistance, the load is large, the working pressure is large, and the working pressure is small when the load is small. The load includes pipeline resistance, external load, friction of relative moving parts, etc.
The nominal (rated) pressure of the pump refers to the maximum working pressure that the pump is allowed to reach during operation. It is limited by the structural strength and leakage of the parts of the pump itself.
The displacement of the pump refers to the volume of oil discharged from the pump shaft, and the common unit is cm3 / r.
The theoretical flow rate of the pump refers to the volume of oil output by the pump per minute (not considering leakage), and the common unit is L / min (liter / minute), which is equal to the pump's displacement times the speed.
Gear pump The gear pump is installed in the pump body and the pump cover (front and rear covers) through a pair of intermeshing active and passive gears, and is divided into two closed spaces (suction chamber and pressure chamber) that are not connected to each other. When driven to rotate, the volume of the oil suction chamber gradually increases to form a partial vacuum, atmospheric pressure pushes the oil into the pump, and the volume of the pressure oil chamber gradually decreases to push the oil out.
The damage of the pump is mainly manifested as: the efficiency is reduced and the hydraulic components work weakly.
The damaged parts are mainly: the sleeve of the gear shaft is worn; the inner surface of the casing is worn; the side plate is worn.
Among them, the wear of the shaft sleeve of the gear shaft will cause the wear of the inner surface of the housing; the contamination of the hydraulic oil is the main reason for the early wear of the gear pump.
Is of little value for repairing worn gear pumps. Due to wear, all components are damaged at the same time. For gear pumps with more than two pairs, there may be damage to the splined sleeve that is connected in the middle during use.
