Everyone may encounter various failures while driving an excavator. I think the most common one is that it will not catch fire. So what are the reasons for not catching fire, and from what aspects to troubleshoot these problems? Today I will explain to you in detail.
Circuit
There are many reasons why the excavator can't catch fire, and the most common reasons that the editor encounters that can't catch fire are circuits. So how to judge that the circuit is the cause of the fire?
The circuit failure leads to no fire. It is mainly caused by the unresponsiveness of unscrewing the ignition switch or the speed of the starting motor is too low, and the feeling of powerlessness can be felt. If these two phenomena fail to catch fire, it can be roughly determined that the startup circuit has failed, so how can I troubleshoot it?
Check battery head
The inspection circuit can be started from the source. First check the battery pile head, clean the battery pile head, and then tighten the screw of the pile head. The editor has failed to catch fire several times before because the battery pile head is loose, resulting in poor contact , The voltage is not enough. Conditional owners can measure the battery voltage with a multimeter voltage file.
If the battery is not faulty, the next step is to check the line. Follow the line of the battery to check whether the line is broken or the connector is loose.
Check relay box fuse box
Next, start to check the start relay and fuse box, open the relay box to check whether the connector is loose, and then open the fuse box to check whether the start circuit fuse is burnt out.
Of course, the failure of the starter motor or generator can also cause a fire. Among them, the generator failure will cause the generator to fail to generate electricity normally, and the battery power cannot be replenished, resulting in a low or no rotation of the starter motor.
Oil road
In addition to the cause of the circuit, the oil circuit is also a common cause of misfire. So, how to judge that the oil circuit failure caused the fire?
If the starter motor can be turned very strongly when the start key is unscrewed, and the engine does not have abnormal mechanical friction sound, it can be roughly determined as the cause of the oil circuit. The inspection of the fuel circuit of the direct injection vehicle is simpler than the circuit, and it is more complicated to inspect some electronically controlled high-pressure common rail engines. Generally you can check from the following steps.
Check if there is enough fuel
First check whether there is oil in the fuel tank. You may think this step is too incredible, but in fact there are not many owners who cannot catch fire because the fuel tank is out of fuel.
A car with a good fuel gauge can observe the fuel level in the fuel tank through the fuel gauge, but I recommend that at this time it is best to check whether the fuel tank has enough fuel through the fuel level gauge or open the fuel tank cap. After all, the fuel gauge will also malfunction. of.
Oil-water separator drain
After confirming that there is enough diesel in the fuel tank, the next step is the oil-water separator. In fact, many owners do not have the habit of draining the oil-water separator every day. If the quality of the oil used is not high, it may be due to diesel water. Too many to start. The oil-water separator generally has a red buoy. The density of this buoy is between the water of the diesel and it will float on the water and be at the point of diesel. When observing the buoy of the oil-water separator is in the middle, unscrew the bottom of the oil-water separator The drain bolt drains the water, which should be done for every oil-water separator.
Engine exhaust air
After excluding the cause of excessive water in diesel, if it is still unable to catch fire, the next step is to check whether the diesel is mixed with air. First, find the location of the hand pump. The installation location of the hand pump of different brands of engines is different, and some are installed in the diesel pump. Nearby, some are equipped with an electronic oil pump so there is no need to manually exhaust the air. Currently, most of the excavator hand oil pumps on sale are installed above the oil-water separator. Loosen the bleed bolt next to the hand oil pump, and press the hand oil pump by hand until the bleed bolt All came out of diesel, and then tighten the bleed bolt to complete the air exhaust work.
Under normal circumstances, you can drive after checking the circuit and the oil circuit. If you still can't catch fire at this time, you should consider the mechanical reasons.
Mechanical failure
If there is no problem with the circuit and the oil circuit after inspection, it may be a mechanical failure caused by the engine.
Generally, the probability of mechanical failure of a diesel engine is relatively low, but once a mechanical failure occurs, the engine will be overhauled. Common engine mechanical failures include cylinder pulling, burning of tiles, and pounding of cylinders, etc. Under normal circumstances, mechanical failures of the engine are all There are precursors, such as sudden engine weakness during normal operation, or black smoke and abnormal noise during operation.
Overhaul engine
Most of the mechanical failures occur when the engine is working. The probability of mechanical failures when starting the cold car is low, and the mechanical failures of the general excavator engines require lifting the engine for disassembly and maintenance. It is recommended to find the after-sales department or professional engine maintenance personnel Carry out repairs.
