After the loader bucket pin shaft seat is damaged, it should be repaired by welding. This method is quite skillful. Pay attention to the corresponding skills in this respect, so that it can be used more smoothly in the future, and the welding repair can reduce these problems the next time it is used.
1. Make a new lower pin seat and mandrel
According to the determined size, make a new lower pin seat. Taking into account the requirements of strength and weldability, the material can be 40Cr or 45# steel instead.
The manufactured mandrel is mainly used to avoid skew and other position deviations during welding, so as to ensure the coaxiality of the four new lower pin seats on the bucket after welding. The length of the mandrel varies with the size of the loader bucket, but the width of the loader bucket is generally not more than 3000 mm. The distance between the upper and lower pin seats of the bucket is generally 2500 mm to 2600 mm, so the length of the mandrel should be Slightly larger than this value. The diameter of the mandrel should be based on the determined lower pin seat hole to ensure fit.
2. Cut off the damaged lower pin seat
Lay the bucket flat so that the lower pin seats on both sides are in a natural state for easy operation. First, choose one of the four eccentrically worn down pin seats, and use an oxygen-acetylene flame to cut the old down pin seats from the barrel ribs. Gas cutting should be carried out along the original weld as much as possible, and the diameter of the cutting hole should be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the new lower pin seat.
3. Put in the new lower pin seat and insert the mandrel
Put the new lower pin seat into the cutting hole, and pass the mandrel through the four lower pin seat holes to ensure that the lower pin seat to be welded and fixed is on the same axis as the other three pin seats.
4. Weld a new lower pin seat
Weld the new lower pin seat on the barrel ribs. After the mandrel is completely cooled, tap the mandrel lightly. Do not pull out the mandrel until the mandrel is completely cooled. The purpose is to use the mandrel to resist the cooling shrinkage deformation of the weld to ensure that the newly welded lower pin seat hole is coaxial with other lower pin seat holes.
It can be seen from the above summary that there are many welding repair methods for the bucket pin seat of the loader, so attention must be paid to the details in this process to achieve better results. In short, pay attention to these methods in this link.
