Kobelco SK260LC-8 Hydraulic System Often Has Problems?

Mar 23, 2021

Excavator is a main machine in engineering construction. At the same time, it can also be used as a multi-functional operation machine. For example, it can complete various engineering operations such as hoisting, grabbing, trench cleaning, slope repairing, crushing, and demolition. The machine has now become one of the main machinery for engineering construction. There are many problems with the hydraulic system of an excavator, and repairs can only be made if it is clear what the fault is.

Combining the structural characteristics and working principle of the excavator, this article summarizes the faults that often occur in construction: 1. Leakage of the hydraulic system 2. The action failure of the hydraulic system 3. The excavator is weak.

1. Leakage of hydraulic system

Hydraulic system leakage is divided into internal leakage and external leakage. The reasons for the leakage in the hydraulic system are: leakage in the hydraulic pump; leakage in the hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic motor; leakage in the control valve. The reasons for external leakage of the hydraulic system are: oil leakage of hydraulic accessories; oil leakage of hydraulic pump and seal damage; oil leakage of control valve seal damage; oil leakage of hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors; oil leakage of hydraulic motors. In a nutshell, the main causes of leakage are poor assembly, high oil temperature, impurities in the oil, and damage to the seals.

2. Operation failure of hydraulic system

According to the principle of hydraulic system, the reasons for all the malfunctions of the whole machine are as follows: (1) Insufficient hydraulic oil, poor suction oil circuit, and empty oil circuit. All actions of the machine are malfunctioning. (2) The transmission connection between the hydraulic pump and the engine is damaged. In this way, the engine cannot drive the hydraulic pump, and there is no pressure oil output from the pump port, making the whole machine inoperative. (3) The front and rear hydraulic pumps are severely worn or damaged, resulting in insufficient output flow and pressure of the pump, which causes the whole machine to move slowly or not at all. (4) The power adjustment system of the hydraulic pump is malfunctioning.

3. The excavator is weak

Weak digging can be divided into two situations: The first is weak digging, the engine does not hold the car, and the load is very light: the size of the digging force is determined by the output pressure of the main pump, and whether the engine holds the car depends on the absorption torque of the oil pump and the output of the engine. The relationship between torques. The second type is weakness in digging. When the boom or stick is extended to the end, the engine is severely suffocated or even stalled: the engine suffocating indicates that the absorption torque of the oil pump is greater than the output torque of the engine, causing the engine to overload.
