In excavator work, crushing operation is one of the most common operations, which are often used in demolition, mining and urban construction. Many novices often use the breaker incorrectly during their operations, causing the excavator engine to stop at every turn. This is really a headache!
The engine is holding back the car after the crushing operation
The damage to the excavator caused by the crushing operation is much greater than that of the normal earthmoving machine. This is also an important reason why the failure rate of the excavator that has been hit by the breaker will greatly increase, and the maintenance of the excavator is more time-consuming and laborious.
An owner from Yunnan responded that after starting the engine, his machine stopped the car. Any movement could not be completed smoothly, and the engine would go out, and normal construction was no longer possible!
Cause Analysis
Long-term use of the breaker will cause the regulator to wear out and issue a card, which often leads to slow movements and deviations in walking. In order to improve this situation, the user purchases the hydraulic pump assembly to replace it. It has been slow to move after half a year of use, often holding the car.
Next, the maintenance personnel conduct a detailed test and inspection. After starting, the P1 pump has a 28MPA load, and the P2 has no abnormality; it is judged that the hydraulic system is abnormal.
Unplug the P1 neutral and cut off the PSV harness, the fault is not improved, unplug the P2 neutral and cut off the PSV, the speed is stable after starting, and the abnormal load disappears.
Fault judgment:
1. The main computer board receives the abnormal signal of the relevant sensor, which causes an abnormal command to be issued to make the P2 neutral cut off the PSV action; but the load exists in the P1 pump, and it is judged that the high-pressure sensor is incorrectly inserted.
2. Check that the high-pressure sensor and P1/P2-PSV are inserted correctly, and eliminate the wiring problem. Since the hydraulic pump has been replaced by the machine, the inspection found that the P1/P2 working oil pipe and the multi-way valve are connected incorrectly, restore the oil pipe, connect the relevant wiring harness, and start it. The afterload becomes a P2 pump.
3. At this time, it is judged that the feedback signal of the low-voltage sensor is abnormal; the main computer board sends an error command to make the P2 neutral cut action; because the machine is equipped with a breaker, check the signal of the breaker low-pressure sensor.
4. Check service diagnosis The feedback signal value of the broken hammer low pressure sensor is slightly larger than 0.6V. The reason is that the user refitted the connection, and finally confirmed that there is an abnormality in the connection, which caused the computer board to receive the signal abnormally. The P2 neutral cut action was wrongly commanded and the car was stopped.
Processing method
The working oil pipe connection is restored to the normal state, and the breaker connection is restored after reconnecting.
Precautions:
We also need to pay attention when using the breaker. Don’t go empty during the work. When hitting, it should be perpendicular to the object being hit. Otherwise, if the piston does not move in a straight line inside the cylinder, it is easy to correct it. The piston cylinder causes scratches or wear.
