The adjustment method of excavator stick cylinder is as follows:
1. In order to adjust the pressure setting value of the line relief valve at the piston rod end of the stick cylinder when repairing the excavator, we move the stick control lever until the stick is at the full stick position, and keep the stick control lever at this position.
2. Read the value of the pressure gauge connected to the pressure measuring connector (2) and check the pressure at the piston rod end of the stick cylinder.
3. Turn the stick control lever back to the neutral position.
5. After the adjustment of the line relief valve is completed, tighten the lock nut (14).
6. Turn the stick control lever back to the neutral position.
Tips from the excavator maintenance master: turning the adjustment screw (15) clockwise will increase the pressure, while turning the adjustment screw (15) counterclockwise will decrease the pressure.
Note: make the final pressure adjustment only when the pressure increases.
