Kato oil return filter replacement procedure

When removing the filter plug, be careful not to get burnt by the oil sprayed from the oil tank. Stop the engine before removing the filter plug. Then press the rubber plug on the bleed valve until the pressure in the tank is completely relieved.
① Press the air vent rubber plug on the fuel tank to exhaust the air in the tank
② Unscrew the cover bolt and remove the cover, then pull the filter element part of the filter from the shell
③ Pull out the bayonet and remove the slotted nut, then take out the central bolt and take out the filter element
④ Follow the steps opposite to the removal.

Correctly install the O-ring, and then tighten the bolts of the cover (2) Filter replacement interval Replacement interval: every 500 hours.
After a new machine or replacement of hydraulic oil, the filter element should be replaced after every 150 hours of operation.
The oil return filter cannot be cleaned or reused. A pure KATO filter element should be used. If a hydraulic hammer is used for assembly, a high-performance standard filter element should be replaced.
