Application knowledge of explosion-proof forklift

A: Causes The transportation of diesel and battery vehicles with flammable substances may be the cause of the explosion, which is not

Assumptions, but facts. Many explosions and fires in the petroleum, chemical, paint, pharmaceutical, and arms industries have been identified as non-explosion-proof vehicles. It has become an indisputable fact that unprotected ordinary vehicles can cause accidental explosions.

B: Application places: Explosion-proof vehicles can be widely used in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, military, paint, pigment, coal and other industrial sectors and ports, railways, freight yards, warehouses and other places containing explosive mixtures for loading, unloading, stacking and handling operation.

  ◆ Production, concentration, liquefaction, storage and transportation of flammable gases;

  ◆ Production, filling, release and storage of flammable liquids and places where these liquids are used to treat and clean workpieces;

  ◆ Places for manufacturing and processing rubber and plastics;

  ◆ Places where explosive dust, combustible conductive dust, combustible non-conductive dust, combustible fibers occur during processing, crushing and storage. Such as metal, medicine, resin, plastic 名媛直播 workshop, explosives factory.

C: danger level

  Hazardous areas are divided into several zones according to the frequency, duration and degree of danger of explosive mixtures. The explosive gas hazardous area is divided into Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2.

  Zone 0: The place where explosive gas mixture continuously appears or exists for a long time.

   Zone 1: The place where explosive gas mixture may occur in normal operation.

   Zone 2: A place where explosive gas mixture is unlikely to occur in normal operation and occasionally exists for a short time even if it appears.

  Explosive dust hazardous areas are divided into 10 zones and 11 zones.

   Zone 10: The place where explosive dust mixture continuously appears or exists for a long time.

   Zone 11: The place where the accumulated dust is occasionally raised and an explosive dust mixture appears for a short time.

  Explosion level

Under standard test conditions, explosive gas mixtures are classified into three levels of IIA, IIB, and IIC according to their maximum test safety clearance or minimum ignition current ratio. The IIC class (such as water gas, acetylene) has the largest detonation capability, followed by the IIB class (such as civil gas, ethylene, dimethyl ether), and the IIA class (such as ethane, propane, toluene, gasoline) has the smallest detonation capability.

  Explosive dust (including fiber) is divided into four categories according to its physical properties:

   First, explosive dust: such as aluminum, zinc, aspirin and other dust.

   Second, flammable conductive dust: such as graphite, coke, coal and other dust.

   3. Combustible non-conductive dust: such as polyethylene, dye and other dust.

   Fourth, combustible fibers: such as hemp fibers, wool fibers, etc.

  Temperature group

  Explosive gas and dust temperature groups are divided into 6 groups and 3 groups according to their ignition temperatures.

D: Basic protective measures for vehicles The basic protective measures for forklifts can be divided into six types:

   1. Install flame arrester and exhaust spark arrestor in the intake and exhaust system of diesel engine.

   2. Control the surface temperature of the vehicle and the exhaust temperature of the diesel engine so that it is not higher than the temperature group value specified by the explosion-proof forklift.

   3. Forklift starter motors, motors, batteries, switches and instruments and other electrical components take protective measures to eliminate or control arcs and sparks.

   Fourth, the use of anti-static belts, tires, non-metallic fans and anti-collision spark measures for forks and car bodies.

   Fifth, use an independent automatic control system for over-temperature, over-speed and leakage protection.

   6. Effectively monitor the concentration of explosive mixtures in the work area.

F: Why should the vehicle be explosion-proof? In the processing, storage and transportation of flammable gases, steam and dust, forklifts are the most widely used material handling tools, including transporting raw materials to processing locations, transporting finished 名媛直播 to storage locations, and loading dangerous goods into vehicles

on. During these processes, occasional operation accidents occur, such as the accidental drop or puncture of the cargo from the fork, the forklift hitting the stacked cargo, pipelines or other equipment, causing leakage, evaporation and diffusion. In addition, during normal processing of combustible substances (such as material filling, discharging, crushing), its leakage, evaporation and diffusion are inevitable. These flammable substances emitted form an explosive mixture as soon as they are mixed with air. When their concentration reaches the explosion limit and encounters suitable ignition energy, it will cause combustion or explosion.
