(1) Disassembly and installation of Kato excavator bucket
(1) Remove the bucket as shown in Figure 43.
① Park the bucket on the ground to prevent the foot pins from bearing excessive force.
②Remove the O-ring seal on the bucket pin
③Remove the bolt (A) and remove the pins (A) and (B).
④ Gently raise the arm to disengage the bucket from the arm
⑤ Remove the O-ring seal on the pin
(2) Install the bucket.
①As shown in Figure 44, install an O-ring to the inside of the bucket pin.
② Connect the arm and bucket with pins (A) and (B). As shown in Figure 4-5, after inserting the pin, insert the bolt (A) to prevent the pin from rotating
③As shown in Figure 4-6, install the pin O-ring to the groove.
④Adjust bucket clearance and lubricate.
Figure 47 shows the bucket assembly.
The method of adjusting the bucket clearance is as follows.
The Kato excavator provides a set of bucket adjustment devices, that is, inserting the gaskets one by one in order to reduce the connection gap between the bucket and the arm, because this gap will gradually increase with wear. This set of devices not only plays the role of maintaining the sealing effect of the O-ring seal, but also delays its wear. Therefore, the steps of adjusting the life of the pin, bushing and other parts are as follows.
Loosen the bolt and remove the bezel. Put the gasket into the worn gap, then readjust the gasket, then install the baffle and tighten the bolts.
[note]
When inserting the gasket, the steel bushing should be pushed to press it tightly with a small gap. Reasonable gap value is 0.51.0mm
