The purpose of regular maintenance of excavators is to reduce machine failures and extend machine life; shorten machine downtime; improve work efficiency and reduce operating costs. As long as fuel, lubricating oil, water and air are properly managed, 70% of failures can be reduced. In fact, about 70% of failures are caused by poor management.
The operation of the excavator bucket is actually not difficult, but the maintenance of the bucket has troubled many people. The purpose of implementing regular excavator maintenance is to reduce excavator failure and extend the life of the excavator. However, in the actual maintenance process, the excavator's hands are not good at maintenance, and maintenance often becomes "injury". Today, Merritt Excavator Repair Factory will come and take a look at the practices of "damaging" excavators, let's take a look!
1. Improper starting method will cause serious damage to the machine in winter. Some drivers often use the abnormal start method without water (start first, then add cooling water) in order to start the diesel engine quickly. This practice will cause serious damage to the machine and should be prohibited. The correct preheating method is: first put the insulation blanket on the water tank, open the water drain valve, and continuously inject 60-70 ℃ clean soft water into the water tank, and then touch the water out of the water drain valve to feel hot, then close the drain valve, Fill the water tank with clean soft water at 90-100 ℃, and rotate the crankshaft to make the moving parts properly pre-lubricated, and then start again.
2. Randomly select fuel to reduce engine life, increase the probability of damage. Low temperature in winter makes diesel fluidity worse, viscosity increases, and it is not easy to spray, resulting in poor atomization and endless combustion, resulting in a decline in the power and economic performance of diesel engines. Therefore, light diesel with low freezing point and good ignition performance should be selected in winter. Generally, the freezing point of the diesel engine should be 7-10 ℃ lower than the local minimum temperature in the current season.
3. Failure to pay attention to the heat insulation of the body reduces the working life, damages the engine and the low temperature in winter makes it easy to over-cool the diesel engine during operation. Therefore, heat preservation is the key to good use of diesel engines in winter. In the northern regions, diesel engines used in winter should be equipped with heat-insulating jackets and curtains and other cold-proof equipment.
4. Baking the oil pan with an open flame will burn the machine, and aggravate the abrasion of the machine to prevent the oil in the oil pan from deteriorating or even scorching. The lubricating performance will be reduced or completely lost, thus aggravating the machine wear. In winter, oil with a low freezing point should be selected. When starting, an external water bath can be used to increase the temperature of the oil.
5. Low temperature load operation caused serious wear of the machine. After the diesel engine started to catch fire, some drivers could not wait to put into load operation immediately. Due to the low temperature of the engine body and the high viscosity of the engine oil, the diesel engine that is on fire is not easy to fill the friction surface of the sports pair, which will cause serious wear of the engine. In addition, plunger springs, valve springs and injector springs are easily broken due to "cold brittleness".
