The Difference Between The Working Principle Of The Excavator Slewing Motor And Walking Motor

1. Are the structure and working principle of the rotary motor, engine and walking motor the same?

Is basically the same, except that the walking motor and engine have automatic braking devices, but the rotary motor does not. Common excavator structures for modern excavator repair include power units, working devices, slewing mechanisms, operating mechanisms, transmission mechanisms, walking mechanisms, and auxiliary facilities. For excavator repair, select a solid, flat, and low-risk environment for inspection and maintenance; the shovel teeth should touch the ground; stop the engine, and pull the key; the track should apply safety measures such as stop blocks.


Second, when the excavator is started by operating the walking joystick that controls the two crawlers at the same time, the engine speed will drop instantaneously, or even turn off, what is the reason?


This failure is more common in excavator repair shops. This is mainly a problem with the variable mechanism of the plunger pump. When the machine is idling, the plunger pump still has a large flow rate (unit: cubic meters per second).


3. The walking oil motor and the engine have just been repaired. The track will go faster when the throttle is small, but it will not go when the throttle is high. What are the reasons and what are the remedies?


This is because the valve plate was polished and the amount of grinding was too much during maintenance and repair, so that the pressure force between the valve plate and the cylinder plane was insufficient. When the throttle is small, the oil pressure is small, and it is not easy to cause leakage between the planes; when the throttle is large, the oil pressure increases, and the overflow occurs between the planes, which causes the crawler to not move when the throttle is large.


The remedy method is to add a gasket to the spring. If it is a butterfly spring, you can add an additional butterfly spring. For excavator repair, select a solid, flat, and low-risk environment for inspection and maintenance; the shovel teeth should touch the ground; stop the engine, and pull the key; the track should apply safety measures such as stop blocks.


Fourth, what is the fault that prevents the excavator from walking straight?


Is generally caused by the difference in oil pressure between the two sides entering the oil motor and the engine. The side with the larger oil pressure naturally walks faster. During the inspection, two oil pressure gauges can be installed on the pressure measuring ports of the walking oil motors on both sides. If the pressure difference is large, the side with the lower pressure can be adjusted higher on the safety valve. If the pressure is the same on both sides, it is that the oil flow rate (unit: cubic meters per second) sent by the two plunger pumps is different (how to adjust the pump flow rate is specifically introduced in Part 2). If the type 3 and type 5 machine can not go straight, it should patrol its straight control valve.
