1. Measure the oil leakage of the boom cylinder
① Move the boom cylinder to the end of the lifting stroke and turn off the engine. To release the remaining pressure in the pipeline on the top side of the boom cylinder, the joystick can only be operated in the direction of boom lifting.
② Disconnect the hose on the top side of the cylinder as shown in Figure 2-76, and plug the hose side with a flange. Be careful not to disconnect the hose on the bottom side of the cylinder.
③ Run the engine at high idle speed, and make the boom oil circuit overflow by raising the boom. Be careful not to "lower the boom".
④ Start measuring the oil leakage after 30s of boom cylinder overflow, and continue measuring for Imin.
⑤ After the measurement is completed, reinstall the parts.
2. Measure the oil leakage of the stick cylinder
① Move the stick cylinder to the end of the retraction stroke and turn off the engine. To release the remaining pressure in the pipe on the top side of the stick cylinder, the joystick can only be operated in the direction in which the stick is retracted.
② Disconnect the hose on the top side of the cylinder as shown in Figure 2-77, and plug the hose side with a flange. Be careful not to disconnect the hose on the bottom side of the cylinder.
③ Run the engine at a high idle speed and retract the stick to make the stick oil path overflow. Be careful not to "extend the stick two
④ Start measuring the oil leakage after the stick cylinder overflows for 30 seconds, and continue measuring Imin.
⑤ After the measurement is completed, reinstall the parts.
3. Measure the oil leakage of the bucket cylinder
① Move the bucket to the end of the excavation stroke and turn off the engine. To release the remaining pressure in the pipeline on the top side of the shovel half cylinder, the joystick can only be operated in the direction of the bucket digging.
② Disconnect the hose on the top side of the cylinder as shown in Figure 2-78, and plug the hose side with a flange. Be careful not to disconnect the hose on the bottom side of the cylinder.
③ Run the engine at high idle speed, and overflow the bucket cylinder through bucket excavation operation. Be careful not to "unload the bucket".
④ Start measuring the oil leakage after 30s of bucket cylinder overflow, and continue measuring Imin.
⑤ After the excavator maintenance measurement is completed, reinstall the parts.
4. Measure the oil leakage of the rotary motor
① Disconnect the two oil drain hoses shown in Figure 2-79, and plug the hose side with a screw plug.
② Turn the rotation lock switch to the ON position.
③ Run the engine at high idling speed and make the rotary oil circuit overflow by turning. After the oil circuit of the swing motor overflowed for 30 seconds, the oil leakage was measured and the measurement continued for Imin. After measuring once, turn the upper turning platform 180° and measure again.
④ After the measurement is completed, reinstall the parts.
5. Measure the oil leakage of the walking motor
① Remove the travel motor cover.
② Start the engine, lock the traveling mechanism, and turn off the engine. As shown in Figure 2-80, insert the pin between the sprocket and the crawler frame to lock the walking mechanism firmly.
③ As shown in Figure 2-81, disconnect the oil drain hose of the traveling motor, and plug the hose side with a screw plug.
④ Run the engine at a high idling speed, run the oil path through the overflow, and measure the amount of oil leakage.
Before operating the walking joystick, check the position and locking direction of the locked sprocket again.
Note: Operating the joystick incorrectly can cause accidents. Therefore, make sure to mark and check.
30s after the oil circuit of the walking motor overflowed, the oil leakage was measured, and the measurement continued for Imin. Measure the amount of oil leakage several times, and each time move the walking motor slightly to change the positions of the oil distribution plate and the oil cylinder and change the positions of the oil cylinder and the piston.
⑤ After the measurement is completed, reinstall the parts.
