1. Removal and installation of stick cylinder assembly
(1) Demolition of Kobelco excavator stick cylinder assembly
Extend the piston rod of the stick cylinder by about 200 mm, lower the working device to the ground, and then place the safety lock rod in the locked position.
① When disassembling the stick cylinder assembly, as shown in Figure 4-211, place the spacer between the stick cylinder and the boom.
② Remove the plate, and then remove the pin.
③ Start the engine, retract the piston rod, and tie the rod with iron wire to prevent it from falling out.
④ Disassemble the hose.
⑤ Disassemble the lubrication hose.
⑥ Lift up the stick cylinder assembly, remove the plate, remove the pin, and then remove the stick cylinder assembly. Check the number and thickness of the gaskets installed and store them.
(2) Installation of rod cylinder assembly
The installation sequence of the rod cylinder assembly is opposite to the removal sequence.
When aligning the pin hole position, never insert your fingers into the pin hole.
Adjust the thickness of the gasket so that the gap between the end of the cylinder and the support is less than 1 mm. The standard thickness of the gasket is 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm. Fill the oil to the specified liquid level through the oil filler, run the engine to circulate the oil in the system, and then check the oil level to discharge air from the cylinder.
2. Removal and installation of bucket cylinder assembly
(1) Removal of bucket cylinder assembly
Extend the bucket cylinder piston rod by about 200 mm, lower the working device to the ground, and then place the safety lock rod in the locked position.
① As shown in Figure 4-212, place the spacer under the end of the stick.
② As shown in Figure 4-213, put the spacer between the connecting rod and the stick, and then put another spacer on the bucket cylinder and stick
between.
③ Remove the locking bolt.
④ Remove the plate, and then remove the pin. Check the number and thickness of the installed gaskets and store them in a safe place.
⑤ Start the engine, retract the piston rod, and tie the rod with iron wire to prevent it from falling out.
⑥ Fold off the 2 hoses.
⑦ Lift the bucket cylinder assembly, fold down the plate and pins, and remove the bucket cylinder assembly. Check the number and thickness of the installed gaskets and store them in a safe place.
(2) Installation of bucket cylinder assembly
The installation sequence of the bucket cylinder assembly is opposite to the removal sequence.
① Tighten the lock nut, as shown in Figure 4-214, to make the gap between the plate and the nut. It is 0.5~1.5mm.
② Adjust the thickness of the gasket, as shown in Figure 4-215, so that the gap force between the connecting rod and the connecting rod is less than 1 mm. The standard thickness of the gasket is 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm.
③ Adjust the thickness of the gasket, as shown in Figure 4-216, so that the gap c between the end of the cylinder and the support is less than 1mm. The standard thickness of the gasket is 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm.
④ Fill the oil to the specified liquid level through the oil filler, run the engine to circulate the oil in the system, and then check the oil level.
⑤ Drain air from the cylinder.
