The most direct identification method is to identify the color of the hydraulic oil. If the hydraulic oil with dark brown, milky white or distinct odor is found to be metamorphic oil, it can not be used in machinery.
To prevent all unnecessary impurities
The clean hydraulic oil is the life of the hydraulic system. There are many precision parts in the hydraulic system, some have damping holes, some have cracks. If the solid impurity invasion will cause the precision parts to be pulled, hairpin and oil passage blockage, it will endanger the safe operation of the hydraulic system. So we can start from the following aspects:
1. before filling up, the hydraulic oil should be filtered and injected to ensure its cleanliness.
2. in the maintenance of the hydraulic system, it should be removed from the cover, the cover of the filter, the testing hole, the hydraulic tubing and so on, in order to prevent the tubing exposure from the unwanted dust.
3. clean the hydraulic components and hydraulic hose, then use high pressure air to dry and then assemble. When replacing hydraulic oil, the filter should be cleaned together to ensure that there is no fouling in the filter housing.
4. using the same brand of hydraulic oil, the oil temperature should be controlled at 45~80 degrees centigrade. When the hydraulic oil is replaced, the hydraulic system should be cleaned repeatedly. After the cleaning is finished, the new oil will be perfused.
Regular maintenance
Check the filter regularly. Because of the long time operation, there will be many metal impurities attached to the filter screen and attached to the oil pump or oil cylinder. Therefore, the filter should be cleaned in time and replaced with oil in time. When the hydraulic system fails, it is necessary to contact the relevant maintenance personnel in time for repair and maintenance so as to reduce unnecessary losses caused by failures.
