As we all know, with the continuous rise of aerial work machinery, the use of aerial work platforms can also be seen everywhere. So, it is necessary to further understand and master some of its correct operating specifications and precautions for use. This article focuses on introducing you.
1. Operating specifications for aerial work platforms
1. It must be equipped with professional operators who have received special training, passed the examination, and hold a certificate.
2. The operator must start the lifting platform after performing various inspections and maintenance according to the maintenance regulations of the mechanical equipment. Before working, the working range of the platform truck should be checked to remove obstacles that hinder the rotation and walking of the platform truck.
3. The support is an important preparation for the operation of the aerial work platform. The flat ground should be selected. For example, the foundation is soft or uneven, and it must be solidified with sleepers before it can work.
4. The aerial work platform should generally raise the lower arm first, then the middle arm, and finally the upper arm. During the swinging operation of the lifting platform, the lower arm must be raised after a certain height, and the rotation should be slow. At the same time, pay attention to whether the distance between the shearing arm and the platform to each equipment meets the safety needs.
5. The operator on the working platform should wear a seat belt, and when working in the live area, the car body should be grounded according to the regulations. The ascending and descending operation of the lifting platform should be directed by the person in charge of the work, and the person in charge should follow the signals and lifts specified in the GB5082 standard. Platform operators to contact. The signal sent must be clear and accurate.
6. Before the platform is operated, the person in charge of the work should give technical and safety explanations to the operator. The content should include: work content and requirements; safety precautions and danger points; personnel division of labor and scope of responsibility. In addition to checking the vehicle condition and the operator, the person in charge of the work is also responsible for checking the terrain environment, whether the take-off and landing meet the requirements of safety technical measures or the work plan formulated in advance. If there are discrepancies, corresponding measures should be worked out before start working.
2. Matters needing attention in aerial work platforms
1. Any work carried out in a place with a height of 2 meters or more should be regarded as a high place operation. Any work that can be done on the ground in advance must be done on the ground, minimizing high-altitude operations.
2. Persons working in high places must be in good health, and those with mental illness, epilepsy, and high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. that are not suitable for high altitude working diseases as identified by doctors are not allowed to participate in high altitude working. When it is found that the staff has drinking and lack of energy, ascending work is prohibited.
3. All work at heights must be done by scaffolding or measures to prevent the team from falling.
4. Work on dam crests, steep slopes, roofs, cliffs, towers, suspension bridges, and other dangerous edges. Safety nets or protective railings should be installed on the side of the sky, otherwise staff must use seat belts.
5. Ice, snow, gravel, and mud on steep cliffs, steep slopes, or sidewalks must be cleaned frequently, and a 1 meter high rail must be provided on the outer side. On the inside of the railing, an 18 cm high side plate or soil ridge is set to prevent falling objects from hurting people.
6. Work on scaffolds without scaffolding or without railings, the height exceeds 1.5 meters, you must use seat belts, or take other reliable safety measures.
7. The safety belt should be checked before use, and a static load test should be carried out regularly (every 6 months). The test load is 225 kg and the test time is 5 minutes. After the test, check for deformation, cracks, etc., and do Good test record. Unqualified seat belts should be dealt with in a timely manner.
8. The hook or rope of the safety belt should be hung on a strong and firm member or a steel wire rope specially used for hanging the safety belt.
Do not hang it on moving or unstable objects.
9. Tool bags should always be used when working at heights. Larger tools should be tied to firm components with ropes and not allowed to be placed randomly to prevent accidents from falling from a height.
10. When working in high places, except for the personnel concerned, others are not allowed to walk or stay under the work place. Fences or other protective devices should be installed under the work place to prevent falling objects from hurting people. If you are working on a grid-type platform, in order to prevent tools and equipment from falling, planks should be laid.
11. It is forbidden to throw tools and materials up and down, and use a rope to fasten and hang down or up to avoid hurting the staff below or destroying the scaffolding.
12. When working on the upper and lower floors at the same time, tight and firm protective partitions, sheds or other isolation facilities must be installed in the middle, and the workers must wear safety helmets.
13. Work in the open air at a temperature below 10 degrees in winter in winter. If necessary, there should be a rest place for heating near the construction area. The heating equipment should be managed by a special person and pay attention to fire prevention.
14. In severe weather such as strong winds of level 6 and above, and heavy weather such as heavy rain, thunder, and fog, operations in open high places should be stopped.
15. It is prohibited to work on unsturdy structures (such as asbestos tile roofs). In order to prevent accidental registration, warning signs should be hung on the necessary places of this structure.
