For The Temperature Rise in The Hydraulic System Of Hitachi Excavator

Sep 15, 2021

(1) System temperature rise caused by unreasonable design of hydraulic system of Hitachi excavator

The oil temperature of the hydraulic system is too high due to a large amount of pressure loss in the working process. For example, the specification of hydraulic components is unreasonable; There are redundant components and circuits in the system; Improper throttling mode; In the non working process of the system, there is no effective unloading measures, so that a large amount of pressure oil is lost and the oil is heated. Therefore, the above unreasonable design should be improved and perfected.

(2) Pressure loss means that pressure energy is converted into heat energy

It is caused by unreasonable pipeline design and installation, resulting in increased pressure loss and untimely pipeline maintenance and cleaning. It shall be improved during commissioning and maintenance.

(3) Oil heating caused by large volume loss

The internal and external leakage shall be prevented and the volume loss shall be reduced at the hydraulic pump, each connection, fit clearance, etc.

(4) Oil heating caused by large mechanical loss

Mechanical loss is often caused by poor machining accuracy and assembly quality of hydraulic components, poor installation accuracy and improper installation of seals. In particular, the tightness adjustment of the seal shall be reasonable to make the sealing device have good sealing performance, mainly starting from the improvement of the sealing structure and adjusting according to the specified compression amount to reduce the friction resistance.

(5) Caused by excessive pressure adjustment

It is not allowed to increase the system pressure to ensure normal operation under bad working conditions, which will increase energy loss and heat the oil.

(6) The oil tank has small volume and poor heat dissipation conditions

The heat dissipation conditions shall be improved and the capacity of the oil tank shall be appropriately increased to give full play to the heat dissipation effect of the oil tank wall. Forced cooling measures shall be taken if necessary.
