① Check the coaxiality between the hydraulic torque converter and the engine. Check the deviation between the engine crankshaft and the end face of the engine flywheel housing, which shall not exceed 0.33mm. If the coaxiality error between the engine and the hydraulic torque converter is found to be too large, the hydraulic torque converter shall be installed after correction, otherwise, the abnormal load on the bearing will cause premature damage to the bearing.

② Inspection of guide wheel. Whether the guide wheel works normally can be checked by observing the speed of oil temperature drop. Fully open the engine throttle to raise the oil temperature at the outlet of the hydraulic torque converter to 1 OO ° C, then loosen the output shaft of the hydraulic torque converter to make the output speed reach the maximum value, and check the oil temperature drop speed immediately. The temperature should begin to drop after 15s. Slow temperature drop indicates that the guide wheel may be locked and the free wheel may be stuck; If the temperature drops rapidly, the guide roller works normally.

③ Inspection of zero speed working condition of hydraulic torque converter. Under the zero speed working condition of hydraulic torque converter (no more than 30s), make the engine fully open at the throttle, and record the engine speed, inlet oil pressure of hydraulic torque converter and lubricating oil pressure (note that the oil temperature at the outlet of hydraulic torque converter shall not exceed 120 ° C, the inlet oil pressure of hydraulic torque converter shall not be less than 0.35Mpa, and the lubricating oil pressure shall not be less than 56mpa), Compare whether the actual engine speed detected under the zero speed condition of the hydraulic torque converter is consistent with the recommended engine speed (using the matching performance curve of the engine and the hydraulic torque converter).

④ Inspection of inlet pressure of hydraulic torque converter. When the engine throttle is fully open and the hydraulic torque converter is at zero speed, the pressure supplied to the hydraulic pump is the inlet oil pressure of the hydraulic torque converter at this time. At this time, the minimum pressure of the hydraulic pump is 0.35Mpa and the maximum pressure is 0.54mpa; The maximum allowable working pressure is 0.85mpa when the engine throttle is fully open and the hydraulic torque converter is unloaded. Generally, the specified limit value shall not be exceeded, otherwise failure will occur.

⑤ The hydraulic torque converter shall have a suitable oil seal and drain pipeline to the oil tank. The inner diameter of the drain pipe shall be at least 10mm. The oil circuit shall be kept unobstructed without kinks or bends. The oil pipes must be installed 90mm below the center line of the hydraulic torque converter or lower. If the installation is not good, the oil will leak through the hydraulic torque converter pump wheel housing seal or the output shaft double oil seal.

⑥ Pay attention to the danger of excessive oil temperature in the use of hydraulic torque converter. If the oil temperature is too high, it will not only deteriorate the oil quality, but also cause carbon deposition, so that the sealing oil drain pipeline is not unblocked, resulting in an increase in the pressure at the seal of the pump wheel housing, resulting in the failure or complete scrapping of the pump wheel housing seal.

⑦ If the construction machinery equipped with hydraulic torque converter needs to be stored for more than one month, drain the original working oil, replace the filter, install the oil drain plug, and then fill it with protective oil to the operating oil level. Operate the equipment to raise the oil temperature to the maximum working oil temperature and stop the operation. When the equipment is gradually cooled to touch, All openings and vent holes shall be sealed with damp proof adhesive tape or cork, and all exposed unpainted surfaces shall be coated with high-quality protective grease.
