Hitachi excavator track adjustment device is installed on the side frame. It is composed of spring 5 and adjusting device cylinder 6. The spring 5 absorbs the load applied to the front guide wheel, and the adjusting device cylinder 6 is used to adjust the deflection of the track.
Grease is injected into the oil cavity A of the adjusting device cylinder 6 through the grease nipple 1. The pressure of the grease pushes out the piston rod 8, thereby reducing the deflection of the track.
In order to increase the deflection of the track, the nut needs to be loosened 1-1.5 turns counterclockwise to release the grease from the cylinder of the track adjustment device through the grease overflow port.
Warning: There is high-pressure grease in the cylinder of the track adjustment device, and the method of removing the grease nipple or nut in the valve assembly cannot be used to release the high-pressure grease
