Cause of failure
1. The starting motor speed of excavator is too low. To ensure the normal starting speed of Komatsu EC55 excavator engine, it should be kept at about 150r/min
2. Insufficient oil supply to engine and incorrect oil supply timing of excavator
3. The timing relationship of excavator engine is disordered (incorrect timing of gas distribution and oil supply)
4. The compressor is not working properly, and the excavator engine cannot be started smoothly
5. The Komatsu EC55 engine may fail to start due to stuck fuel nozzle of the fuel injection pump, high fuel injection pressure of the fuel injector, and no fuel supply of the excavator fuel system
6. The cylinder compression pressure is not enough, and the excavator engine cannot be started smoothly.
Troubleshooting:
1. After the excavator fails to start smoothly, check whether the starting motor speed of the excavator engine is too low?
2. Next, check whether there are other fault phenomena when the excavator engine is started except that the engine cannot be started smoothly? For example, does the exhaust pipe of the excavator emit white smoke?
3. If the excavator engine fails to start and white smoke is emitted from the exhaust pipe, it means that the diesel in the excavator engine cylinder cannot be fully burned or the water content in the diesel is too large The cause of the fault is that there is air in the fuel system, the fuel injector does not work normally, or the legal fuel supply time is incorrect.
