The equipment is weak, and the engine burns with black smoke and the engine oil burns. The equipment can't work, which is very annoying.
In fact, this kind of data signal is all equipment cylinder damage. If proper maintenance is carried out, the excavator will restore the driving force.
01What is a diesel engine overhaul
"Overhaul" refers to the dismantling and replacement of the four supporting facilities components of diesel engine cylinders and their piston pins, hydraulic seals, grinding or dismantling deformed components. "Four supporting facilities" refer to parts such as cylinder liner, piston, piston ring, piston pin, piston pin snap ring and cylinder liner water blocking ring.
02Why overhaul diesel engines
It can be seen that the key to overhaul is to remove and replace the easily damaged parts in the cylinder. So, what is the most vulnerable component? First of all, many in the cylinder cooperate with each other [Piston-Piston Ring], [Piston Ring-Cylinder Liner], [Piston-Piston Pin].
Among these many mutual fits, the most easily damaged is the mutual fit of [piston ring-cylinder liner]. There are three piston rings, two gas rings and one oil ring, which have the functions of sealing air, transferring heat, lubricating, and discharging oil. Once damaged, it will leak steam (causing the whole car to be weak and difficult to start), and car oil will leak into the combustion chamber (black smoke, engine burning oil).
[Piston-Piston Ring] Cooperate with each other, it is very easy to deposit carbon. The piston's personal working room must be reciprocated quickly. The residue of mechanical equipment damage and the residue of the air inlet will accumulate in the gap of the piston ring. If things go on like this, it will cause the piston ring to move and drag, thereby damaging the cylinder liner. The worst result is biting the cylinder, pulling the cylinder, de-cylinder and so on.
[Pistons and Piston Pins] Generally, it is not easy to cause problems, but there have been some instances where the snap ring forgot to install, and the result is that the engine block is immediately broken.
03Under what circumstances must the diesel engine be overhauled

3. Engine oil burning is not absolute. It is necessary to integrate the application status of the equipment to make the final distinction.
I often see the bosses asking for information, they ask: "My equipment is weak, what is the reason?" In fact, the excavator maintenance professional and technical personnel who ask for such information can't respond, and they must be clear at the time of the inquiry. The application time of the equipment, earthwork backfilling or iron ore work, maintenance status, etc. facilitate people to analyze the cause of common equipment failures.
Note: Generally speaking, during the earthwork backfilling of the equipment, under all normal maintenance conditions, the overhaul of 7000-10000 hours belongs to all normal conditions. Mine mining, breaking hammers, application of inferior filter elements, and maintenance are not immediate, and overhaul may be necessary within 4000 hours. There are also new machines that will have to be overhauled for hundreds of hours if they are worn out early due to excessive work.
